The WCDP will have an outreach booth with literature and buttons/campaign materials at several upcoming events. Vounteers are needed, so don't pass up this opportunity to meet and greet on behalf of Democrats.

The events include:

1. 4th of July parades in Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti and Dexter
2. Ann Arbor Art Fairs July 15-18th, and
3. Ypsilanti Hertage Festival, August 21, 22, and 23

Dinner Theme: A Celebration of the Right to Vote

The Washtenaw County Democratic Party 2009 Annual Dinner will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2009, at the EMU Student Center, at 6pm.

Our special guest, the Honorable John Lewis, will be the keynote speaker. Congressman Lewis, from Georgia, is a distinguished veteran civil rights activist and has been hailed as "...the conscience of the Congress".
