Other Democratic groups in Washtenaw County holding regular meetings include:

• The Western Washtenaw Democrats meet regularly, hold a popular and fun Barn Bash fundraiser in the fall of election years, and host informational events throughout the year in the Chelsea, Dexter, Manchester, and Saline areas. For current information check their website.
• The Ann Arbor Democrats meet on the 2nd Saturday of every month, at 10am at the Ann Arbor Community Center, and hold an annual fundraising picnic on Labor Day. For more information contact Susan Greenberg.
• The Washtenaw Young Democrats meet Mondays once a month. For more information contact Steve Pontoni.
• The University of Michigan College Democrats meet every Thursday during the school year at 8pm at the Michigan Union. For more information contact Jamie Ruth.
• The 15th (Dingell) and 7th Congressional Districts also hold monthly meetings. The 15th meets on the 2nd Thursday of every month at the UAW Local Region 1A office in Taylor. For more information contact Andy LaBarre.
• The local chapter of Democracy For America, a group of socially progressive, fiscally responsible Democrats and Independents in Washtenaw County, meets on the 1st Wednesday of every month, at 7pm at one of several locations in Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti area. For more information contact Mary Shindell.
